We moved! Not only did we move to a new platform for delivering outstanding content to your inbox, but Dr. Lipscomb moved from West Virginia to sunny south Florida last month. We apologize for the hiatus from the digital world. Now back to our purpose.

And for your consideration today, we would like to talk about resonance and why frequencies matter. Let’s start here:

“There are some choices that just feel right. They resonate with your deepest desire, with your inner self, and they feel easy somehow. Everything relaxes when we say yes to that choice. Somewhere inside of us, interference disappears, resistance melts, the path becomes clear and the right choice flows easily. We can resist this choice with sensible self-talk and anxiety, but in the end, we often make decisions or choices based only on the fact that it feels right. …That’s resonance.”  – The Resonance Effect Dr. Carolyn McMakin

Carolyn McMakin is a chiropractor who writes in this book on her rather miraculous findings with another advanced form of electromedicine known as Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM).

Over the past 15 years, she experimented with a list of frequencies that were specific to certain tissue types, certain injury types, and certain pathological states. These frequencies were handed down to her from a curious list that was generated in the 1920’s by pioneering doctors who studied the field of electromedicine before it was shunned into oblivion by the people who preferred to dole out drugs and surgery (otherwise known as the AMA).

When she found the right frequencies and ran them for an hour or so through the body using different placements of electrode gloves, the body would warm up, soften and morph into a healthier state. Fascinating!

I’m not the only one interested in her work. Nenah Sylver, Ph.D. wrote this about McMakin’s findings:

There are frequencies for over 200 conditions, including inflammation, scar tissue, and even excess mineral deposits and toxicity.

“Body tissues,” says McMakin, “respond to frequencies through the principles of biological resonance, responding to the signals like a radio responds to frequencies from a radio station.” 11 Because there’s no biofeedback component to this technology—just a needle on the instrument indicating whether or not the current is flowing—the operator must be trained to recognize, diagnose and treat the most common complaints that involve pain.

Frequency Specific Microcurrent must be administered by a licensed health care practitioner because laypersons are not permitted to receive training or purchase units.

The neat thing about the work we are doing with the device we use in the Pain Eraser Program is that we can easily train laypersons to use and even master our technology. We utilize four different modes that deliver different preset frequencies to the body and it’s very user-friendly and relatively easy to master. We tend to see more rapid results because the body is able to pick up the frequencies it needs as the device oscillates through the preset range.

Here’s what Dr. Sylver has to say about our generation of devices:

These units balance the autonomic (automatic) nervous system. This allows the glands and immune cells to rest and recover. The gut is supported, too, so it absorbs nutrients more efficiently. And these units help restore voltage to the cells. A malfunctioning cell cannot metabolize properly. once the voltage to organs and other bodily tissues is normalized, cellular toxins can be eliminated…

Yes, this is why we talk about our ability to help you resolve pain and improve relaxation, digestion, sleep and any other function that is affected by your autonomic nervous system.

I hope you have enjoyed this semi-deep dive into philosophy and history of electromedicine. Later this week we will take a look forward into where the future is taking us with the exciting field!

Much love and healing to you and yours,

Dr. Brandy Rose Lipscomb
